In 2024, I was selected as the Official Honoree / Featured Artist of the ¡Celebramos! Festival during Hispanic Heritage Month at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. The sculptural installation and selection of work on display was a retrospective that illustrated my process and evolution from a more traditional botanical painter to a contemporary artist still very much engaged in conversations about the natural world and how our lives and identities are intertwined with it.
